    Default Had a HAY DAY at Truman this weekend!


    Had a great weekend. Caught right on the bank all day Friday and Saturday morning. Brought home two limits of nice fish. All but three were big ol' males. Caught mine on a 10 ft pole with about three foot of line out...using minnows. Good time, good time!

    I was down there this past weekend as well. Got limits Friday and Saturday, but then Sunday we tried a different arm of the lake and only caught a couple. The wind made fishing very tough on Sunday. The fish were very good size this year! Biggest we caught was a 14"-all on jigs and most very shallow.

    Great catch. Truman was definitely on this weekend. Pretty cool to catch them 6 inches deep in 18 inches of water! Magical time of the year.
