Would a Lite Tip/Medium action rod work both for jigging and dipping trees and also work for minnow rigs like a capps and coleman minnow rig? Do not have a lot of money to buy rods for both application.

The 10 foot lite action Ozark Rod is one of the best jigging rods you'll find! Not sure I understand what you're wanting to do with minnow rigs? Spider rig?

I guess it is spider rigging sort of 2 hooks and a sinker inbetween the hooks like a 1/4 or 1/2 oz placed in a rod holder

I agree with the 10' Ozark, it was nice, only problem they don't hold up very good when you step on them

as far as rigging them, I think they'd probably do ok, seeing that you don't want to buy another one.

Not to hijack, but wondering if anyone uses their 7' shooting sticks?

If your plann ing on rigging I'd try and get 11 or 12 footers but they should work for dipping and rigging.

I use a 11ft bnm sams super sensitive for both and it does a great job.
