I was fishing Saturday night on the public dock behind bait shop. I kept hearing noises coming from the south docks but couldn't see anything because several of the lights are not working, pretty dark. A little after 3 am I heard a outboard motor start and thought someone was launching but they were taking their boat out instead. No motor noise before that so they were trolling around the dock areas. I had been there a couple of hours so they were there before me and I didn't see any boats fishing around the lights like they do sometimes. I just hope they weren't stealing from any of the boats still in the slips. It would really help if the lights on all the docks worked and might deter theft and help with safety too. If you have a slip there you may want to check your stuff.
