Got out with a buddy this morning and fished until around 1:30. Got a little bit of late start because of the fog. We fished 5 or 6 spots from the upper Grand down to around Hay creek. Best bite was in 2'-6' but caught a few keepers out in 10-12' also. No matter the depth it had to be dropped to the bottom and raise it up about a foot. Early morning they would absolutely crush it but as the morning went on they would just bump it and swim away with it. Probably missed 25-30 good bites. Caught them all on Mike's Custom Jigs. Adam fished a 3 1/2" in Blk/Chart tipped with a nibble and I used my Ole'Faithful 3 1/2" Silver Glitter/Chart rubbed in Smelly Jelly. No giants but had a lot of fish in the lb or better range. Ran in to a couple other crappie.com guys and got to chat with them for a little bit. So made for a fun day on the water.

Now that is a report That I like to hear. Thanks and congrats on the catching.![]()
Best bite in a month for me. Once the water got turned off and then a couple cold fronts shortly after it got tough. I still need to get you out for a trip. Switching jobs in another week and half and it should give me more time to fish.

Good to hear Jared!!! 'Bout time.
'Course it's gonna get HOT again. It's always something.

The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
