Headed out in the Rain yesterday. Ran North of Cape past cut through.
5 keepers in three and half hours. Soaked through my rain suit and figured the bite wasn't good enough to stick around. Fished all new stuff on the side image. Used a blue/white jig 1/8"oz on brush 11 - 18ft. Had a lot of light bites, but no hooky, hooky.
Went Last Saturday. Nice day for fishing. Poor day for catching. Six keepers is all and not a lot of bites. One came out of seven feet and another one out of 28. No pattern to speak of. The corp piles didn't produce much either. I was single poling, maybe need to be spider rigging. It'll get better.
Losin' my mojo not fishing enough to keep track of 'em. People posting the crappie are biting on Table Rock, but not well for me.
Short Males and Kentuckies yesterday afternoon. Fished from up in the river with the snaggers down past Wooley.
Small males up in 6 - 8 ft. Couldn't find the girls. Saw a lot of heavy signal on the 2D and side image at 25 - 30 ft.
Put baits on their nose and no takers.
Water was 57 up in the river. 55 past Wooley.
A little more sunshine ought to get them in the mood.
Probably slaying them today!
Keep at it. I will be at Tablerock on April 14-15 and then back again on April 27-May1 so I will need a good report by then.

Went up the White about as far as you can go and not be in Arkansas. Was fishing for bass with an Alabama rig and caught two nice crappie on the banks in shallow water. Was using 3.5" swim baits on the Alabama rig. Water temp was about 55.
