    Default Crankin LOZ 7/12

Son and I got on the water about 5:30PM started trolling along bluffs by Pier 31 Marina and caught a few nice fish. When the boat traffic slowed more we hit some main channel flats and had a ball until it got dark. We trolled along the outside edge of the flats with Sexy Shad 300 bandits and caught a lot of crappie. We kept 10 that were in the 11"-12" range and had 6 white bass and hybrids two about 15" and a eating size blue cat. It was my son's first time fishing like this and he is ready to go again. Was gonna get some pics but it was late by the time we got some dinner and got home.

Way to catch them. We are coming down on Wednesday and normally fish the same areas. I have a white Seaark with a black Suzuki 140, if you see me sometime stop by and say hello.
