Caught more Dam fish this morning

Fished with Kelly and his granddaughter Chloe out front of Truman dam this morning. Was expecting to get in to the whites and hybrids again but never did. What we did do is brought home a good mess of crappie though. Found them up close against the Dam. Casting white/char, orange/char jigs was best. Did end up catching some small whites just before we left.
What started out slow ended up a good morning.

Any day you can take a kid fishing is a great day! I am glad I didn't drive up this morning. I have always wanted to get into some of those hybrids and whites. But after getting the report from my folks this morning at Preston about the almost 2 inches of rain, I was afraid it would affect the fishing.
