The week of the new moon in May. It won't get any better than this. Nice chilly night; should have the lake pretty much to myself. Time to teach this boat how crappie should be caught. Should have pics of crappie and hopefully some bonus fish. (White Bass Are Not Bonus Fish!)

Beagle, You were right. That was just about the time that I got up. Just now on my second cup of coffee. Had a really good night. The only thing that kept it from being great was not getting the last two walleye. Have a doctor appointment, but will post pics before disemboweling these old girls.

Haven't ever tried this and living out of state, don't know when I would. But assuming that you put floating lights out? Looking forward to pics.

Never had good luck during full moon. Floating lights work better on darkest of nights for us.
