Smithville Monday Evening Report Cold & WINDY!

Not much else to say, water temp dropped 5 degrees, seen it as cold as 62.4 & air temp very cold and the WIND! Fished main lake and my son and I caught 4 small keepers off the banks and let them swim another day. Caught about 6 short male’s right on the banks. That’s all I got. Anyone else venture to guess the spawn status at Smithville with the rain and cold?

No luck here either, went out and fished across from camp branch marina this morning. Caught two keepers early, a green fish, and a white bass. Fighting the wind all day, and it was COLD! Anybody else catching anything on Smithville?

Got crappie and I went out for a few hrs today. We managed 8 between us. Pretty slow for us and everyone we talked to. Dave kept having me drive over stumps too. We got stuck 3 or 4 times

Vic's boat is a stump magnet and hes is good at getting high center. But had a good time Buddy. I thank we threw some 9 back.
