    Default Smithville, Sunday 3/15

Went out for a little on Sunday. Main lake deep brush piles were a bust. Fished Camp Branch, main channel in 30' of water next to coves and close to submerged trees and ended up with 11. Fish were in 30' of water 18' down and they were schooled and moving slowly. Used Dave's (Got Crappie) 2" blk/chart Crazy Creepy Crawly Carrot Jigs. The SI made finding the fish easier.

Thanks for the report Alex. I went out for a few minutes and decided I didn't want to fight the wind.

I fished most of the day Sunday. It was a lot tougher than Saturday evening. Ended up fishing the w bridge and caught 11 keepers in the last hour. If anybody found a brand new red ranger life vest, I know the guy that used to own it. :-(
