limited at smithville

well i finally got a limit most of them were 9.5 to 10 inches but i had two that were 11 and 1 12 incher. It was a beautiful day. Larimer (my service dog) and I fully enjoyed the 70 degree weather today.

I caught them in 30 foot of water some on jigs and some on jigs tipped with minnows. I was using mostly white jig bodies and just stayed on top of the school. they didnt seem to be relating to cover they were suspended in 15-25 fow.
