The wife, son and myself got to get on the water today, first time since Nov.1st. Fished from 11 to 3:30 and had 27 keepers most were 10.5-11 with four 13-14. All came off brush around docks. Depths varied from 7' to 20' of water. Fish were pretty aggressive and hit hard. Best color was Electric Chicken and Blue Ice Bobby Garland Baby Shad.

My wife was having second thoughts about going this mourning with the wind and cool weather. At the end of day she was glad she went. She caught the most fish and had two of the biggest. The thing she was most proud of is she finished the day with the same jig she started with. we fished some tight spots between docks today with the wind blowing too. I got her a 7' Sam Heaton Super Sensitive Rod and a Lew's spinning reel awhile back and today was her first full day of using it and loved it. It's a really light weight setup. She could shoot instead of casting and really helped in the strong wind.
