Went back to Coffman area and started fishing at 6:55 before the sun came up and had 12 pretty quick. Then the sun came out and the bite slowed to a crawl. I fished several spots from Coffman to the mouth of Gravios Mill and finally limited out. Got half my fish slip corking minnows 5 to 10 feet deep, and half pitching a puddle jumper on a chartreuse head. Just letting the jig fall 15 feet then sloooowly reeling up in the boat well, giving it a little bump. In two days I did not catch any fish when the jig was falling which is odd. I wouldn't of won any prizes but I managed some solid fish. If you plan on going the best bite for me has been very early in the morning; and if you go to Coffman watch out when you turn onto the road leading to the ramp there's a pothole big enough to take a tire off.

The fishing was so good I thought it was yesterday
Did better than us congrats.
Looks like a darn nice pile of fish to me. The boy is home from college.......we're definitely fishin somewhere......maybe Truman maybe LOZ. Been too long for us.......got the itch real bad! The Glaize is calling but so is bucksaw......depends on how far we feel like driving.
Congrats on a good day.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
Thanks for the report and pictures. Hope i can match your success but i won't get there till after sunrise if it rises.
Another great outing for ya! I'm hunting them in morning! If my wife lets me go to bed!![]()
