Hey yall, ive been fishing wapp for years now maybe 2-3 times a year and havnt had much luck. But now I'm fishing it a lot more now, 4-5 times a month. Sometimes we'll manage 3-4 keepers but most of the time they're all too small. I personally don't keep 9 inch fish but at times we can't even catch anything bigger than 6-7 inch fish.
I hear of 1.5 to 2 pound crappie being caught from there so I know there are some good size fish there.
would anybody here give me some tips for trying to find the bigger crappie?
ive fished opossum creek, lost creek and over by redman. Ive caught more fish at lost creek but bigger fish at opossum.
i spider rig and usually use minnows.
i fished there Saturday and caught atleast 20 dinks but no keepers.
