Haven't seen a bite like that on the Rock since 2006. Got smart for once. I thought if they are biting this good, it's time to go look for new spots. Kicked on the side image and found five more piles holding crappie. Small 9 - 11" fish but a lot of fun. Had to have a live minnow to get a bite. #2 split shot , #2 hook on 4lbs test right in the brush. Boated over 80 fish in a total of 5 hours of fishing & 3 hours of side scanning. Average was small for the most part but had five over 14"
Didn't take a single fish home this time. Side imaging is the best thing since sliced bread on TBL Rock.
