Any good crappie fishing close to Ft. Leonard Wood?

Well several years ago Bloodland lake on FLW treated me pretty good. The Little prairie lake CA. just east of Rolla holds alot of fish good in spring but tough after that. River fishing by Jerome around rootwads can be good depends on water level. Lake of Ozarks glaize arm is only about 45 min. from post I cannot complain about it treats me well. My son thinks he will be PCSn there soon from Ft. Wainwright. We both enjoy crappie fishing and was looking for a lake fairly close to fish.
