Anybody been to Smithville recently?

I havent seen a recent Smithville report after the rain and cooler weather? I was thinking about trying it this evening but didnt know how they were doing?

Welcome, I fished Monday and did well on just about every main lake spawn bank that I fished. Hope this cool weather doesn't push them off, don't think it will. Black and chartreuse on 1/16 pony head was the ticket for me! Good luck

Thought about going today, but it looked like I would have to clear ice from my rods......so no!

I was there on mother's day in the a.m. Caught 9 keepers but released maybe 30-35 shorts. Lots of black crappie, haven't had a single white crappie bite yet. Not sure where they all went. Good luck!
