Smithville 5-5-14

Caught my limit in a few hours in the evening. Found a lot of small males on the banks, but not all banks. Most spots fish were spread out with most of the bigger females in 10 to 15 ft of water still. Black and pink was the color that worked best for me. Minnows caught the smaller fish, while jigs brought in the bigger ones. The coves that were protected from the wind were the warmer ones with the fish on the banks.

The 4 on the bottom left were 14 in females. Bottom right is a 9.5 in for a comparison.
