Crappiejoe12 and I went on our planned two day fishing excursion at the LOZ. Monday we fished on the condo dock and picked up a few and then went to Downing Branch Cove and kinda got out of the wind. We ended up with a limit but it was slow. Night fished and caught quit a few but mostly from the IBCC.
Tuesday we decided to run to Bouge Bay and I thought we were on Thunder River at Six Flags. Fished a bank that was kinda out of the wind and we caught 24 then I got a few more at the condo slip bobbin. Except for the fish at the condo, they all were on or close to the bank up to 14 inches and fat. We caught all the fish slip corking minnows 1 to 2 feet deep, could not get jack squat on a jig. Water is very very clear and had to look for steeper banks. The bite was slow and wed pick one off here and there but there was not that many on the bank yet or the cold front backed them off. All the females we cleaned did not have loose eggs.
We were going to stay another day but the LOZ Bering Sea was not going to let up and I didn't want to waste a vacation day on another hurricane beat down. I'll save my back for next week.

Good report thanks. I am hoping this slowed things down as I cannot go till next week.![]()
Nice report, be safe out there.
Good report but we like pictures to go with it.
WTG, that wind must have been brutal...... Sounds like you guys made the best of it!!!!
FISH ON......... inspired by river monsters around the globe.......
Wow! I'm impressed on how you can stand horizontal like that, and not fall out of the boat.
Good Catch!
