Went fishing last Saturday at Smithville thru the ice, it sure was windy but they bit good. Ice was 5" to 7" where we were at but saw some open water and it was melting around trees so you had to really watch where you are going. A buddy and I got 30 decent crappies, most were around 9.5 to 11" but had one solid 12". Bit best on jigs with a very slow retrieve from bottom but also got some on minnows. About 17 to 25 fow near bottom. Will try to add the picture but have never done it before so will see if it works. Good luck to all!

Nice mess of fish!!!
Very nice. Did they all come out of same hole?
Pretty cool to see fish laying on the ice beside a hole in it in Mo. Congrats on a good day.
