This may be a bit off topic, but great tool to have in the tackle box for winter months. May be a bit behind things with this, but i finally used some Little Hottie hand warmers today. I bought some mittens last year at Bass Pro that have little pockets in the back of them. I've never used any hand warmers. Have also never been impressed with these gloves with fingers and flip over mittens (other than some old ones now in the bottom of Mark Twain) in the 20-20 degree days. I tried the hand warmers in the little pockets today, and wow. Didn't care for the mittens on 30* days, but with today's 16, my hands were nice and toasty. I was blading the drive, so a little more activity than fishing, but my hands were Warm. If you don't have some in your tackle box or glove box, I'd suggest some. PS. A buddy of mine who runs in this cold weather, says their great in your pants pockets to keep the femoral artery nice and warm, which in turn keeps your body nice and warm. Haven't tried that yet.
