thanks for the info guys but i have another stupid question. when you say you start fishing anywhere on the lake does that also mean that you can take off from any ramp or must you start at the weigh in site. if you can take off from other sites how would you get to the weigh in? by boat or truck? thanks for your help
-
Adam, you can fish out of any ramp that you chose on LOZ. I dont believe that you can get to the weigh in station by water anyway. The closer you are to the weigh in station the better you are. I believe that you have to be in line with your 10 fish by 4. Not just be at the weighin sorting fish.. You will find out all the details friday night at the meeting that you have to attend.

i'm going to try and make it either sat. afternoon or sunday. i'm kind of mad at myself because i just remembered of prior oblibations i will have to tend to instead of fishing the tourney next weekend.
-
hey ted, didn't make the trip this weekend as you can probably see from my wappapello report but i plan to go prefish friday and fish my first tournament on sat. i'm getting pretty excitied. are you planning on fishing it?
-
Yep, I saw your Wappapello report. I fished sat and sun at purvis, fishing was good on sat but fair on sunday. Had a limit of 9's & 10's by 11 on sat. Sunday was only 13 keepers by 3. Glad to see that you are going to fish now. I plan on fishing if doesnt workout, I will come down and watch the weighin. Hope fully we can meet, let me know what your drive and what your boat looks like. I drive a silver dodge with a white charger and a merc on back.
