Billbob, I've not fished Granada, but here's what I'd do ifn it was me. 1) Start at waters edge --kiddin..
Seriously, I'd ask at the bait stores and find an ole timer (they usually don't mind sharing info) and then get to the lake and look for the boats and just observe. The boats will tell you a lot. Be ready to try minners or jigs. Somedays only one or the other will work. One guy recently posted that he was fishin minners and the guy next to him in the boat was fishing blk/chart. jigs, & the guy jiggin' was catchin and the other wasn't. Be a good boy scout and be prepared. Good luck, and stay safe.
Billbob, you just itchin' for trouble, ain't ya? :D

jimmy, don't let billbob fool ya, he ain't no spring chicken to the waters of Mississippi! The more important thing to keep in mind is hiding all the women within about 75 miles of his chosen fishin' ground!
Start at the closest BEER store...turn toward the spillway go down about a half mile and turn left toward the VFW....I think you can fish there all night.![]()
When you get there find the South Graysport landing and put in there. If a big wind gets up coming from the S.West or West it will give you fits getting your boat on the trailer there but that's where I'd put in unless it's blowing already and I wouldn't put in there. Look on the other side of the lake and you'll see another landing on the protected side but you gotta cross the whole causeway to put in there. Back to the left from the landing is all flooded flats and fields and we've been picking up a few around bushes. Not enough to tell you what color or nothing cause they seem real scattered hitting on various colors. You won't see huge groups of boats to key on as the lake is very high with the boats all scattered and up behind the bushes. Don't haul ass all over the place or you're gonna tear the foot off your motor. There are twenty foot stobs everywhere going all the way to the bank in places and a gazillion six or eight footers that you can't see just under the water...be careful. You're gonna earn your crappie this trip I'm afraid so best of luck and be careful. Let us know how it went.
Real nice answer there feather. Just another crappie.com member trying to go out and have good time in water he normaly doesn't fish. By the number of posts, he has been a member much longer than you. DON'T BE AN ..... If you don't want to answer, then don't. DON'T BE A ..... We are all friends here.

Those of us that gave sarcastic answers all know billbob pretty well. If I understand you right, sdomescik, you took issue with the overwhelmingly sarcastic mood to the answers billbob got to his inquiry. Speaking on behalf of the most common MS folks on here (and you guys feel free to correct me), we don't find fault in billbob whatsoever (except his chasin' of our women!). We have all met him and enjoy harassing him. Billbob, if I'm wrong, chime in here!
That said, I for one, think that feather was really just tryin to be helpful to him. I'm not sure when feather would have met billbob and he was treating billbob as a visitor and giving an honest recommendation of how to approach Grenada if one had never been there.
Am I completely off base here?

Maybe it is the adult beverages I consumed this evening but I am confused by this thread!!! BILLBOB...NOW LOOK WHAT YOU STARTED!
Why don't you just stick to beer drinking and trying to steal all our women?
