They are only spooked on the days I am fishing, lately....every other day they are on fire. Everyone should call me the night before to see if I am going the next day.
That's my story and I am sticking to it.

I've been hearing reports: Lakeview, Horsehoe and Sardis. The word I'm getting is that some are holding on the outer edges of trees, edge of canals, close to shallow points etc., but no real spawning beds on the "usual places". The guys I've been talking to say they're working hard to scratch out a mess and very few on the same spots. More minnow action than jigs.
These 40 degree nights have em' spooked?
I fish during the week to avoid "some of the crowds" and it looks like we may have warmer nights on the way. Personally, I love the thump of jigs so this time of year always suits me in spite of the spring fever folks. I'm ready to get back at it next week assuming the winds and temps hold off.
Thoughts?

With this baby you can get a limit under any conditions.(make sure you stay at least a 100 yds. from it while in use)

Jimfish has just invented a sho'nuff limit-getter. As your uninvited business manager in this deal, I just took the pic and applied for the US patent. It'll either make us lots of money or lot's of time in the pokey.![]()
Sure fire mr jim!
England and I have both suggested dynamite in the last week...he!! I even used a minner a couple of times...that is sacreligous![]()
I wanna place an order for about four of those rigs Mr. Jim. Looks like I need a few.

Ya'll better not let Cane Pole see that rig. That'll tear up a stake bed in a hurry.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
