We had fun today

They bit good today on Grenada. Whitecap and I liked to have froze to death the first half of the day, but had to shuck off a few layers at lunch. The lake is blessed with 12" fish......caught a good many of them. It sure hurts to have to throw'em back, but it's fish for the future. We thought we had 40, but ended up with 37. In 5' FOW just off the river. Had one 3.0.....lost two more hogs. Man, I needed that after this past week. How'd y'all do?

I played in the dirt all day. I was hoping someone would catch some and post'em. Thanks LJ. Maybe I can get out next week and get after'em. Those are worth freezing for.

James, it should still be good fishin the weekend of the gathering. I've always said Grenada has a bigger peak-spawn window than most realize. I don't think they'll really start flowing for a couple more weeks.

Johnny, I'm still doin the disposable-shorts thing, too. Oh well, we'll wish they were still young enough to do that again one of these days....
