advice needed

Howdy fellas,
I am planning a trip to Grenada Lake this week, and I have no idea where to start looking for slabs once I get there. I also am clueless as to what depth to fish, or what tackle to use. Any advice is welcome. I would like to know where a bait shop is where I might be able to pick up some info.

Welcome to the board. I have not been to Grenada fishing in years. I think as you go through Grenada on HWY 8 toward the lake there are amny bait shops on the side of town closest to the lake. I used to stop at one on hte right side of the HWY very close to the lake. I would think you can stop at any bait shop there and get some helpful information though. Sorry I could not be more help.
