    Default Sardis in October

Hey all was gonna head down to Sardis in October. Been several years since I have been there. Any pointers or suggestions for catching crappie? Without a live scope. Thanks!

You going to be camping or cabin?
Clear creek and Lespedeza point show good action.
Lower lake is hot now. Might be good in October if water isn't dropped to low.

Boat ramp on main lake, might have problem with any type of west or east wind. Closest ramp would be Engineers Point.

I looked at the campground a few years ago. Most all trees had been removed close to the restroom and the grass was tall. Mostly out in the open. The camp host kept their grass mowed.
A few campers in the wooded area in the loop, very little grass there. Long walk to the restroom.

Temps are cooling down and the lower lake has had great reports on facebook groups. Wish I could go with my kayak but my and Debbie's health won't allow it at this time.
I'm watching the discharge rate at the outlet tunnel so I can spend some time fishing from the wall without having to fish on the rocks or kayak now. Maybe a day soon with my son.
