Your welcome! And it wouldn't hurt to email the MDWFP to confirm the no pole limit deal past the rip rap. I've only been told this and have no real proof, I see folks fishing 6 poles each all the time. Sometimes even the wardens don't know the rules down there and are quick to write tickets. To be extra safe I would shoot them an email and get confirmation by correspondence (in writing) and keep copy of it. Seems like you have time to do it, I still only fish 4 by myself and 8 with two usually. Just don't see a need for any more poles, lol. I can PM you a contact if you would like.
Last time I bought minners at JJ's they were $2.50/doz. and a good count for mediums. That was late Summer. Guess the price has gone up! I hate buying them by the pound!:donononono
Snubby a contact would be great.

Snubby is giving great advice here. I posted that question on MDWFP website and received an email from them saying "no limit on poles" outside the riprap. I keep the email in my phone for proof. I asked game wardens that question several times and got an equal number of yes and no answers on pole limit on lower lake. That's what caused me to ask the folks in Jackson. I wouldn't fish more than four poles without something to back it up, although I've never been checked out on the lower lake by wardens (only checked at ramp).
Folks in Jackson not writing tickets or going to court for you!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I emailed and got an answer that no pole limit on the lower lake upper lake only. That’s the way I remembered it but definitely will keep the email handy on my phone. Planning on being there in morning good luck to all of heading out tomorrow

Well it was definitely a trip today. Bought some tip savers last weekend at grizzly show, left out this morning and within a mile of the house I saw 2 poles flipping backwards out of boat and tumbling down the road. Picked them up luckily no permanent damage. Secured better and took off. Made 2 hour drive and got there with all my poles so considered it a win. Then noticed my dust cap missing off of one wheel after I just put new bearings in this week. Finally on water at 1030. Didn’t get a bite til 2 pm. Caught these 2 and had to leave at 3. Stopped at auto zone gotta new dust cap. Banged the hand up pretty good using a wrench as a hammer to put cap on. Made it home an hour late for an ffa auction but made it. Luckily wife didn’t spend all the money before I got there haha. These bit on small blue/white and pink/black jigs about 9’ deep in 16’ water Everyone I talked to said they had it rough with a few saying the guys that were there at daybreak did alright.
