    Default Weighted cranks

    Hummm,

Rather than placing a weight in front of the crank bait, does anyone make a weighted lure?

I have weighted rattle traps. I used "suspenda strips". don't even know if they sell them anymore. anyhow I put them on the trap to be able to jig it under the ice, to call in bass eyes and pike. and that it does well! those strips(and they had dots) was what they were made for. they were stick on lead that was put under the lip/belly mostly. markers also make sinking cranks but not all that heavy. get some lead mash it, cut it, and glue it on to see. or drill holes on and insert bbs. then you get rattle too for a bonus.

the strips were good because adding weight takes testing to get them running rite. you have to play with it some.
