double minnow rig
I spend a lot of time in the winter getting ready for spring fishing. One of my projects is to rig a lot of double minnow rigs with different weights. I go from 1/2 ounce up to 2 ounce rigs. When I have one finished I put it in a quart storage bag by itself. After a few rigs I put all of them in a one gallon storage bag. Now if I do that with every different weight I end up with about 40 ready to go rigs. Only problem is I have one bag that is heavy, I was thinking I could make up 20 rigs with out any weight and use those weights that have the rubber tips sticking out the end. You could go from a 1 ounce rig down to 1/2 just by changing weights instead of changing the whole rig. I used some last year and it seemed to work ok. Any one else ever tried this?
