Barnett summer camp a success

Had a great time today at the gathering. Special thanks goes out to Vans Sporting Goods and Millennium for the great door prizes, and to GSXR man and Slab Slinger for bringing the fish cookers, and to Clifford N for helping organize. I think everyone enjoyed it. For those of you who didn't make it, we missed seeing you. You should have been there for the food and fellowship.

Absolute great time. So good to see everyone. Weather was perfect. This is second get together at Browns Landing...bet it will not be the last. Such hospitality from everybody. And Bull, the hush puppies were deeeeelishus!!

I have a bunch and will be adding them shortly... It was a great time, and thanks to all who came out, and those who helped make it happen! The food was awesome, and we caught a real break on the weather... I think we could have fed an army with all of the fish we had...

So, lets start with the food... We had fried crappie filets, and whole bream, seasoned fries and hushpuppies, coleslaw, a big pot of season greens, and a table full of desserts, including some awesome homemade ice cream!

With several cooking, they were able to get it all served at the same time. EZ Pole came over to check out the special mixed fish fry...

There were small huddles all over the place, lots of fishin stories, and who knows what else being told... And, two cuties!

And, after everyone ate, we had to hand out a bunch of great door prizes... Da Wifey won the first one, a ten foot B and M jiggin pole... Lots of pics and smilin faces in this group!
