I fished that lake a few times, but never did that good. Every time I've been was around Easter time and the lake was muddy. I did catch below the dam.
Long story short they have nice state ran cabins. My wife and daughter love them. Being a Cajun from around the Baton Rouge area it is a great vacation spot.
