Got to fish by myself for about three hours Friday. Mid morning to lunch. Caught six nice keepers and probably as many dinks. Put em back as my wife’s family was in town so I had other things to do. Fish weren’t deep. 2-4 foot in 2-10 fow. Typical post spawn/ early summer pattern. Shallow tops with quick drop offs. Sunshine would’ve helped keep em tight on the tops and probably made catching a little better. [ATTACH]303639


Saturday afternoon I carried my nephew and father in law. Nephew is from west Texas and couldn’t figure out why he was still sweating in the shade. Haha...he’s too young to understand dry heat at home vs our humidity, but he felt it. Went to Lake Lowndes not expecting much but Caught a handful of good bluegill and two stud shellcracker. He had blast and so did we.
