Went early this morning and put a few on the table to fillet. Crappie were in deep water this morning right at the bottom. They just didn't want a minnow at all. Caught most using the vertical casting technic used a southern pro crawdad 2" hot grub on a 1/32 head and a squirt of SlabSauce every now and then. Water temp. was 76° this morning and most all the female fish still had eggs in them. Weather looks like the 90's the rest of the week with not much chance of rain. Hope this doesn't setup for bluebird sky's that shut the bite down. Hope everyone is having a good crappie year.
