Pearl River at Ratliff’s Ferry

My wife and kid are out of town so I’d planned on fishing out of Ratliff’s Ferry Friday morning. Now they’re predicting a ton of rain. River forecast doesn’t predict that it’ll be at flood stage but says “action”. Anybody know what that means? Does anyone know when it gets into the parking lot? I don’t want to drive 90 miles and get there and not be able to fish, but mostly I don’t want to go down if it’s gonna be dangerous. This is the first chance I’ve had to fish so I don’t want to screw it up.

The up River area can muddy up pretty quick and easy. I'm watching the rainfall amounts myself as I also want to go somewhere Friday. If the wind is not bad the main lake would be the area I would target.
