    Default Wildcat on Enid

I was curious at what water level can you fish and safety put a boat into wild cat on Enid. I have put in there about 3 years ago but never with the water level being this high. I will be down in the area fishing this weekend and was thinking about giving it a try if I can.

You can go over the weir at 247 . Are you wanting to put in at the ramp that is actually in wild cats ? Would be easier to put in off the old mud line road south of the run way at the airport .

there is a rock road south of the airport that you can back into water on . Water should be up on that road . The ramp you are talking about will be way under water .

I think that's the road, and it is under water. I was over there last week, and like Eagle said, the gravel ramp is inaccessible. People are launching at the four-way intersection (where you would normally turn to go the gravel ramp) If we don't get too much rain tonight, I'm going to be over there fishing Tuesday or so and can let you know more.

I just came back from Wildcat, but I didn't launch the boat there. The water is up on the gravel road Eagle1 mentioned, and there's a turnout pretty close to the water's edge, a handy spot to turn around so you back into the water. The road leading into the gravel ramp is flooded up to the crossroad. It's pretty shallow there and unless you have a tilt trailer, you'll probably have to back into the water a good ways to launch.
