    They weren’t that bad...... Poles came on the boat, and previous owner had lost the paddles somehow. So the install was super easy because brackets were already there.

    Nope. Poles were already on the boat. The box came with hardware and two paddles.

    super easy to install, just one question. on the lower strap, does yours sit on the white part of the pole or up on the larger black part of it? I tried every combo i could with those adaptors and everything and could only get the straps to stay on the black part of the pole

    Not exactly sure what strap you are talking about. Both rubber attachments to the pole are on the lower white pole. They came with an assortment of bushings and you had to choose the one that fit your pole. I think the ten foot anchors have one strap on lower white pole and the other on the upper larger black part of the pole.
