    Default 11/29/2017 Archusa report

Well I had a good day crappie fishing for a change. Wind was mostly calm and weather was some what warmer for a change. The water temp. was 54° and caught them biting pretty good. Fish were in the deeper parts of the lake in 14-16' water about 8' deep around and close to structure(brush tops). Spider fishing with minnows was the ticket today but did catch a couple on a key lime pie shad loaded with some SlabSauce. Caught most of them early and decide to stay and try to get a limit. Started the morning out at 7:15 am and fished till 2:00 pm. I had the whole lake to myself all the day while I was there. Most people are deer hunting or just don't fish in the fall and winter. But that's OK I don't really mind having all the lake to myself. LOL Well for all the diehard fishermen out there I hope you are having a good year also. Well tight lines and I will be looking forward to seeing everyone's reports and pictures.

Nice catch, I know how you feel having water to yourself. It’s like having your own lake even if it is only temporary. That’s why I like fall/ winter fishing. 11/29/2017 Archusa report

I'm guilty of the deer hunting issue this time of year. I'm about done though when I see catches like yours. Good job man! I like to eat fish better than deer meat anyway. What's wrong with me? I should have thought this through a little better. Fishing from now on for me. Thanks for the post.
