Finally got to go wet a hook Tuesday. Brought my uncle with me and we managed to wrangle a dozen into the boat. Not much size to them so no pic. Bite was slow for sure. Didn’t get to feel (The Thump) like normal. Only way they’d bite is hold jig still close or in top and then it was a light pull when they bit. Water temp was 55 , wind bearable @ 5-6 from the sse. Saw only a couple boats but they were gone after a couple hrs. The highlight of the day I reckon was when my uncle lathed onto a 5.2 lb striper. I should have videoed that but didn’t. Took him about 10 minutes to get it to net. He played him good though, 6 lb line with a light wire jig on a 9 ft fly rod. He was elicited and smiling ear to ear. That’s what it’s all about. Anyway here is his pic with the catch of the dayName: IMG_0477.jpg
