Default Power Pole vs Talon Questions

Maybe I'm crazy but it seems I see more power poles down there and more talons up here. Is there a reason? What do you prefer?

Also do the paddles on the power poles work as well socks. Watching some power pole guys last spring in Grenada it almost seemed like they were dragging the bottom to control drift more than the paddles. Is this the case? Is this hard on the poles. Can you drag with talons as well.

Don't think Talons are made to use with paddles but I 'm sure, if there's enough interest, someone will come up with
something. I have Power Pole paddles and will never go back to chains or socks as long as I live. They will bring my
boat from 1 mph to 4 tenths with part of the paddles out of the water. If I want to go a little slower I put them down a little deeper. The main thing I like about them is I'm not going back and forth putting them out and bringing them in
15 or20 times a day. If you jig pole and troll, It takes about two minutes to remove them to use the Power Pole poles.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

I have the 12' talon. Money was the issue with me-no problem to self install and save money since it's electric. Would love to have the paddles tho.
