Hey Doug and Rickie, I'm coming in November. Already got the dates on my calendar. I told the wife this morning when Doug posted the dates we're going to Kentucky this Fall, and she's ready! I was planning on coming last year, but something came up (don't remember what), and didn't make it.
I really enjoyed meeting all the Kentucky gang and apologize to any one of you that I didn't introduce my self to. Rickie, you put on a great seminar and I learned some things again from you......and Thanks for fixing the glitch in my Humminbird.
I'm gonna see how many of these 'ssippi boyz I can round up to come up with me. Who knows, we might make as good of a showing that you guys made down here!!
Come on 'ssippi, boyz, let's return the favor!!!

It was a great event for sure. Thanks to everyone that helped make it happen especially Rees, ms Tammy, ScottV and the cooks/contributors. I'm still full from all the food I ate. And the deserts. Dang y'all eat good here.

I give up a long while ago on trying to stay fit down here in the South Ed, too dang many good eats and good country folks ain't going to see it fit on letting no one waste away! Pleasure to meet you Slab, "G" and billbob is everyone's hero, a real honor to meet him!! And if you KY boys will have me, I may just come ugly the place up in November, just maybe :Rofl

G and I were talking today about how great this event turned out. For both of us it seemed to be the best we have ever been to. Most thanks go to Ree's and his wonderful wife Ms Tammy for all the hard work they both put into organizing and hosting these get togethers. No easy task at all. But also thanks to everyone especially all our out of town guests for taking the time off and making the trip from several states to attend this event. I may be speaking out of turn for John but don't think so, not only does it take a lot of time and energy to host something like this but what makes it great is a group of outstanding like minded indaviduals coming together, making new friends, participating in activities and plane enjoying themselves. Met a bunch of new people from several states that I hope I have contact with again as time goes on. Really tickled I finally got to meet one of my hero's Rickie and also MrDucks. I have followed both of their posts since I have been on the board and continue to be impressed with their willingness to help and teach all of us with their knowledge. Thanks agin John and Tammy for a great time.
