Just was wondering should a man go ahead and get the I pilot Link on the ultrex for 400$ more. Is it really worth the extra money to follow contour lines. I do troll alot in the early spring and summer but also do a lot of single pole. I do see the advantage to it but is it worth it at the end of the day. I'm currently running 999 on the bow with 360 and 997 at the wheel with lakemaster. I understand I will have to switch the card around to the other unit with the link. This might be a no brainer when spending that kinda money on ultrex what is another 400$. Just wanting opinions on spending hidden money from the wife. Do you guys use the link a lot?

I use link to roughly follow the ledge of a cove and only override the controls when a gust of wind pushes me past my comfort zone
