    Default Catfish trip 7-5-2017

Carried a couple of chances friends that wanted to catch catfish to Pickwick. Was a very slow day. Fish were there you can tell by the sonar picture. I blame it on too much boat traffic over the 4th and yesterday. water got real rough. Notice my new seat bases I installed. After 18 years the others had gotten a lot of slack in them. We troll with the Santee cooper rig a lot depending on current. If they are generating electricity the fish hold tight to the bottom. If there is no current they suspend higher up in the water column.
