Be sure to carefully measure your fish... Have to be over 12 inches at the landing! Some say they shrink on ice...
Look for the old Carolina Skiff
Loaded down with too much gear...
    LINES IN!

Big change in lake levels. You will defiantly have different conditions from a week ago.

Look for clear water, Bean Creek right there where you will be staying will be a good start. Main lake will be muddied up pretty good but the large coves should clear some. Work the creek bed, have to find it with your depth finder and it will be more defined out by the mouth and just above the ramps on either side. Fish top to bottom but remember if the water is murky stay shallow in the water column, be more likely to get bit.
Good luck, have a safe trip.

Thanks for the information, we will be arriving on March 3rd. Maybe the water will be settled down a little by then.

It may settle some, but there's gonna be plenty of new water to hunt them. Murky water is usually a couple degrees warmer...try to find that condition.
