    Default 6/26/2017 Archusa report

Well the rain is finally gone for a while this morning so I gave the lake a try. I figured with all the rain and muddy water I would not do anything but I did better than I had expected. Caught 16 crappie (threw back several short) and a bass. I got a late start this morning after sleeping late got on the water at 6:30am fished to 11:30 am. Fish were in 12'-13' water 79° water temp. a little cool from the past rains. Fish were about 7'-8' deep close but out from brush tops with minnows. Good to be back out on the water fishing this morning as the weather temp. was pretty cool this morning also with the wind light and coming from the North. Hope everyone is having a good fishing year also.
