Be careful guys. We don't want to lose anybody. 32 is going to be tough.
Mine shows ssw 20-30 on Friday...100% chance of strong thunderstorms and 1-2" rain.... I'm not excited. Not at all.... Saturday appears to be better now than Friday.
Be safe. How many teams from crappie.com fishing?
Man, tomorrow does look rough as a cob. Saturday and Sunday turning out to look better and better. Any word on what, if any changes are going to be made? Don't think bass guys would even fish tomorrow. Lot of them wouldn't go out couple weeks back at the St. Jude on Sardis cause the lightning. Can't say that I blame them!!
Weather is part of tournament fishing. Pre set dates. It's a crap shot. Fish a little Friday. Fish like hell on Saturday. Lots of boats will back out. Look how tough Grenada was this year. Single poler will get fridays catch. Plenty of places to fish on Sardis out of the wind. But no place out of the rain.
What time is weigh in and is it held at engineers point? Wouldn't mind watching it.

I am like you Xpressboater, I would like to come to the weight in Friday at Engineers point and on Saturday in Batesville, but no times has been posted
You won't catch me on Sardis in 30 mph winds .

More brave than I am. I have seen 30mph out of the northeast on Grenada, and I don't ever want to see it again!
Mid March at Enid this spring, 20 to 25 out of the southwest let me know to make better decisions next time!!

For me launching at Engineers point and having to run anywhere on the lake is just too dangerous for me. If no changes are made ya'll will just have to count me out. I am not going risk it. The paying up front sux.
Can't pay after the weigh in huh?? I agree, it's a tough road, I would be fishing somewhere's if I could on the lake tomorrow. S winds is the better wind to have on Sardis, anything out of the N especially NE is a killer. Hope the weather is hype as usual, although I like would like to see getting well above summer pool as well. Y'all have a good time, but more importantly be safe guys and gals!!
We fish from 10-6 tomorrow. Boat check at engineers point, then put in where you want. Everyone has to fish the same weather. Make safe descisions guys. Mistakes in that are brutal...
get'em
Good luck to everyone..Be aware of your surroundings, and error on the side of caution. A great goal for today is to come home safe and sound
a better goal would to not be stupid.
I agree the prefish dates aren't suited to a man that works for a living. I think it would be better to do a Sat-Tuesday prefish but those traveling wouldn't have anything to do Wed-TR, so who knows what the best solution would be...
I think Saturday and Sunday would be the smart move .

Safety first guys. Be smart. Be realistic. Catch em if you can. Good luck.
O myyy!!! Couldn't pay me enough to fish today in these conditions. Deadliest catch should come film this. Be safe guys.
flash flood brackets nearing sardis. stay safe.Attachment 268367
Im not at Sardis but from what I've seen and heard it's too dangerous in my opinion. You can't go back in time and un-sink a boat or give someone their life back. Hope everyone returns safe and sound.

Best bet be putting in after lunch, 4-5 hours of fishing is better than none at all. Looks like most of it will be blown thru by 1pm or so. Wind will back off a little throughout the afternoon.
Anybody know what time weight starts and where?
I think it starts at 7 tonight and will be at engineers point if I was told right.
My vote is make tourney waters off limits for a year prior to tourney day. In fact make it off limits for a year after too.
Another round of storms coming in .

Well it was nasty.... it rained buckets, waves were big in places, bigger in places, and huge in others. More waves crashed over the front and back of my ranger today than has in the 6 years I've owned it. Fishing was as bad as the weather. 10 teams out of 77 weighed 7 fish... they say it'll be better tomorrow. We shall see. Weigh in is at the Batesvillle civic center starting around 3 o'clock. We fish 6-230 tomorrow.
Hope the fish were agreeable for all participants after yesterday's rough weather...
Post north cold front fish. Be interesting to see the final results.

That's a negative.. we maybe could have done better today had the breaker not tripped at sometime during the night, thus not a lot of battery for the wind this morning.. we were on the fish until wind picked up and couldn't stay on em!

Sorry to hear it Ducker.Wish it had been better for you.
Tough, tough ,tough fishing today. We caught 6 barely keepers in 8 hours....and 5 bigger ones in the last 30 mins. North wind in the summer....ugh
WTG guys. Glad everybody stayed safe.
Thanks Rees!
Congrats Patrick. Y'all did well.
