Told me the same thing about 8 foot poles today. He has never heard of anyone using an 8 foot PST. I wanted 2 8s, 2 12s, and 2 16s. He does not stock 8s, so I just called Grizzly Jig. They had all 3 sizes in stock.

Well by god, good thing you didn't ask about a 410... :biggrin I love my 8 foot PST rods, I swing everything into the boat with em'. I have the same setup, 16, 12, 8's on each side, dual 8's out the back. Folks at Grizzly have one thing down pat for sure, that is their customer service. Not condemning the fellow mentioned at all, running a small business can stress a man a great deal. Glad it worked out for ya..
Needs to study up on his trade I think.
ok guys...rules say do not bash individuals or businesses....so enough has been said. Thanks for understanding
Remember he is new to the business side...there is a learning curve...At least he is trying to provide a service...
Check with Vic Finkley at the bait shop.
I just called Grizzly. Supposed to be here tomorrow.

All I can say is take care of them 8' rods, ordered 3 replacement tips last week and cost me $65.00. I keep replacements for 12's and 16's and they are relatively cheap. Broke an 8 foot tip by dropping the golden ruler on it, chopped it clean in half like an axe. Most tips I break are from me doing dumb stuff like that, lol, never from swinging fish, unless around CliffordN. Surprised so long to get them to you, usually if in stock I have it in hand within 3 days..
I have broke more 16,14 than 8s...rule of thumb ..extra rip for each rod
