Seem to run close to a bandit 300 or an arkie 350, I've only used them a few times so far.

While searching for you I came across some cheap ones. I got 24 crankbaits for $36.00 no tax, free delivery.

In my experience they run a foot or more deeper than a Bandit 300 or Bomber 6A with the same amount of line out. I use 12 pound mono instead of 10 pound so I probably lose that foot advantage.

Any particular reason for the 12# line ???
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

A little stronger than 10#...I pull, short most of the time, so maximum depth obtainment is not an issue

I've been using Trilene Big Game Solar Collector 12 pound for 3-4 years now and while I may lose a bit in depth, I'm rarely concerned about maximum depth anyway. I'll pull loose 2x more hung up cranks on 12 than I will on 10. We don't have the luxury of huge flats here on KY or Barkley so we tend to pull up close to breaks and cover. Breaks and cover mean hang ups and lost baits. I have pulled 8-9 days in the last 2 weeks with only losing one or two baits. I can see the Solar line for a much longer way behind the boat than braid.

BTW, I hate braid for cranks. I have a 1500 yard spool of depth hunter waiting to be spooled onto catfish rods. One tangle of 3-4 cranks with braid and I'm 20 minutes cutting knots lose. One tangle of 4-5 cranks on the Trilene and I'm 2 minutes cutting line and retying. At $35 for a 4700 YARD spool of Trilene, it's a no-brainer for me.
