Lowrance HDS mapping and GPS

I have Lowrance HDS 9 and sometimes use it to find waypoints marking structure. When I slow down to begin looking for the structure on sonar, sometimes the map will spin. I have it set to "course up". Will the point 1 antenna help this? Anyone have any experience?

Yes, the point-1 will correct this issue.

Yep. And also make sure your WAAS/EGNOS is turned on. Min was off by default. If nothing else, it gives you even better accuracy and precision when finding ģ marking waypoints.
