HOG, I'm an ole boy from Missouri and I learned that many years ago. Love the fishin, the catching CAN be good, but the folks are always great. You figured all that out in one trip.....congrat!!!

We booked a trip to Grenada a little over a year ago. Made it out last Thursday not realizing the tournament was going on, the lake level or that we would be fishing in hurricane force winds. We didn't catch a single fish. That being said, we still had a great time! Reason being the people we met while there. You guys have a great fishing community family. It was nice talking to people about a sport we all love and every person we talked with didn't mind lending advice. Just want to say thanks to the people we met and thanks to the CDC members for advice that helped us have an enjoyable trip. Maybe we'll make it back out that way again.
Billbob thanked you for this post

Sorry the catching didn't work out better. Weather and, with corp lakes, water level are always a crapshoot when you have to book way ahead. Y'all come back.
Glad ya'll had a good time. Been fishing Grenada for 40 years, and it can still make me cry sometimes! Come back and try them again, it will get better.
